Directions (notice that directions have changed) to New Facility


Directions to Adaptive Aquatics New Facility from Birmingham via Interstate 65 South

  • Take Interstate I-65 South to exit 231 (Montevallo/Calera).
  • On exit turn left onto U.S. Highway 31.
  • Go 1 mile and turn right onto Highway 70 East.
  • Go 8 ½ miles, you will come to a red light (25 Columbia Bypass),
  • Go straight thru for ½ mile, you will come to a red light (South Main Street),
  • Go straight thru (will zig zag to the left) for ½ mile the road will Y,
  • Go right on (Highway 28 East or also called Ferry Road) for 5 miles.
  • You will come to a stop sign (Highway 145).
  • Go left for 2 ½ miles on Highway 145 North and turn right onto County Road 416 East.
  • Take an immediate turn to the right onto Paradise Cove Lane for 1½ miles, go until road T's,
  • Go left around lake to end of road and Adaptive Aquatics concrete drive will be on your left.

Traveling time from I-65 South exit  231 is about thirty-five minutes.


Directions to Adaptive Aquatics New Facility from Childersburg via 280 North

  • Take U.S. Highway 280 North from Childersburg Bridge over Coosa River,
  • Go 1 mile and turn left onto Highway76 West,
  • Go 5 miles, you will come to a dead end and go left onto Highway 25 South,
  • Go 4 ½ miles into Wilsonville until red light and go left onto Highway 61 South,
  • Go 4 ½ miles, it becomes Highway 145 (don’t turn),
  • Go 1 mile on Highway 145 South and turn left onto County Road 416 East,
  • Take an immediate turn to the right onto Paradise Cove Lane for 1 ½ miles, go until road T's,
  • Go left around lake to end of road and Adaptive Aquatics concrete drive will be on your left.

Traveling time from Childersburg is about twenty-five minutes.


Directions to Adaptive Aquatics New Facility from Birmingham via 280 South

  • Take U.S. Highway 280 South from Birmingham starting at Lakeshore Drive,
  • Go 3 miles to Interstate 459 (stay on Highway 280 South),
  • Go 2 ½ miles to Highway 119 (stay on Highway 280 South),
  • Go 19 miles to Harpersville at red light and turn right onto Highway 25 South,
  • Go 8 ½ miles into Wilsonville until red light and go left onto Highway 61 South,
  • Go 4 ½ miles, it becomes Highway 145 (don’t turn),
  • Go 1 mile on Highway 145 South and turn left onto County Road 416 East,
  • Take an immediate turn to the right onto Paradise Cove Lane for 1 ½ miles, go until road T's,
  • Go left around lake to end of road and Adaptive Aquatics concrete drive will be on your left.

Directions to Adaptive Aquatics New Facility from Montgomery via I-65 North

  • Take Interstate I-65 North to exit 212 (Wilsonville).
  • On exit turn right onto U.S. Highway 145 North.
  • Go for 22 ½ miles on Highway 145 North and turn right onto County Road 416 East.
  • Take an immediate turn to the right onto Paradise Cove Lane for 1 ½ miles, go until road T's,
  • Go left around lake to end of road and Adaptive Aquatics concrete drive will be on your left.

Traveling time from I-65 North is about thirty-five minutes.


Directions to Adaptive Aquatics New Facility from Atlanta, Georgia via I-20 West

  • Take Interstate I-20 West to exit 158B (Pell City),
  • Exit loops around toward Pell City (231 South),
  • Go for 22 miles on Highway 231 South (eventually becomes Highway 25 South),
  • Go through red light (cross over Highway 280) at Harpersville,
  • Go 8 ½ miles into Wilsonville until red light and go left onto Highway 61 South,
  • Go 4 ½ miles, it becomes Highway 145 (don’t turn),
  • Go 1 mile on Highway 145 South and turn left onto County Road 416 East,
  • Take an immediate turn to the right onto Paradise Cove Lane for 1 ½ miles, go until road T's,
  • Go left around lake to end of road and Adaptive Aquatics concrete drive will be on your left.

Traveling time from I-20 West is about fifty-five minutes.


Directions to Adaptive Aquatics New Facility from Tuscaloosa via Interstate 59/20

  • Take Interstate I-59/I-20 to exit 73 (McFarland Blvd).
  • On exit turn onto U.S. Highway 82 East.
  • Go 30 miles until U.S. Highway 82 East ends and turn right onto Highway 25 North.
  • Go 25 miles, at Calera turn left at red light (follow Highway 25 North signs) then right at 2nd red light.
  • Go 10 miles, you will come to a red light (25 Columbia Bypass) and turn right,
  • Go straight thru for ½ mile, you will come to a red light (South Main Street),
  • Go straight thru (will zig zag to the left) for ½ mile the road will Y,
